About
The Technician license is the entry-level US amateur radio license. It grants operating privileges on all amateur bands above 30 MHz and limited privileges on several HF bands. The exam is administered by volunteer examiners and draws its 35 questions from a public question pool maintained by the National Conference of Volunteer Examiner Coordinators (NCVEC).
Ham Tech Prep teaches the material behind that pool — regulations, operating practice, electrical principles, propagation, and safety — rather than only drilling the answers. Questions can be studied recall-first: the question appears alone until you ask for the choices, so the answer is remembered rather than recognized.
